A bun in the oven!

When our littlest, Sofia, was born in 2008 she was the third of 3 kids three and under.
We had to slow down on the baby-making in order to keep our sanity.
We said we'd wait five years before having any more kids, because five years seems like an impossibly long amount of time when you have a newborn, a 2 year old, and a 3 year old.
But, 5 years actually flies right by.
Coming into 2013 I was getting super baby hungry...Jeremy on the other hand, not so much.
But, he knows that the amount of kids that the wife wants is the amount of kids a family should probably have ;)
So, it's official!  We have a bun in the oven due November 3, 2013!
The kids are over-the-moon excited:)
Daddy is excited, too, I think;) (despite all of the "what were we thinking?!" statements)
We find out in June if it's a boy or a girl.
Feeling a bit of pressure to make a boy (for grandpa's sake) but we're just hoping for a healthy baby!
This baby will be very loved by his/her 3 big sisters!
She's been asking for a baby brother or sister for well over a year...well, all of her wildest dreams are about to come true!
I really wanted a giraffe but mommy got me a baby instead!

I really wanted a PUPPY but mommy got me a baby instead!
This isn't to say that Daddy didn't have anything to do with it;) (though he is currently blaming it on the milkman...)
Love you, Little Baby!!  We're all so excited to meet you!! :)

Aww, Tetons you're so purty

This is the post where you get to see me look like a crazy woman because sharing a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom condo with 17 people can get a teensy bit hectic & I possible may have only showered 3 times in the last week.  at least, that'll be my excuse.

Truth is, when the Tetons are right outside your door, doing your hair all fancy shmancy and putting on makeup is the last thing on your mind.  Unless you're a teenager girl (which we had 3 of with us) then all that stuff is actually the 2nd thing on your mind second only to #1 boys.

This morning was my first morning back at the gym  in over a week & i felt like i was going to die.  I guess that's what you get for eating twinkies and pringles for a week straight.

I did get a little exercise on our trip.  Jeremy took Swede and I on a morning hike overlooking the Tetons.  & we did paddle a canoe for 2 days straight.  But that came to a screeching halt when Jeremy tweaked is back (bad!) while putting the canoe back on top of the car.  So, we had 2 full days of running around, swimming in String Lake and having fun, and then 4 days of taking it easy, driving around a lot looking for animals, watching Jim Gaffigan on Netflix & a quick trip up to yellowstone to look at a few hot pots.  ya know, those pretty, stinky pots of boiling water...can't get enough of them ;)

The paddle boards we rented were a highlight of our week.  Not necessarily because they were super fun, but because of the uncoordinated-ness of us Winborgs.  It's hilarious watching a 70 year old man fall off a paddle board repeatedly...and a 40 year old woman, and another 40-something year old woman...and myself.  hilarious. every. time.
i have video, too. dare i post it??

I hope your week was fabulous, too!
and fyi, the winner of the $50 Shabby Apple gift card giveaway is Beth @ Through the Eyes of the Mrs.,
congrats, i'm jealous!

our duties and a vintage schwinn

we're heading to Salt Lake to deliver some artwork to a client.
i'm feeling so blessed that my husband can use his talents to earn money for our family.
so blessed that their are people out there who have the means & desire to buy artwork even in this economy.
so blessed that God has given him this talent.
and that i might be able to talk hubby into stopping by Anthro and Urban Outfitters while we're in SLC, hehe.

We've had church lock-up duty this week.  It's where hubs is in charge of making sure the church is locked up every night before we go to bed...

"Maybe I am not meant for these duties.
 Cooking duty.
Dead guy duty.
Maybe it's time for me to get a better duty!"

We actually have really thought having lock-up duty was the bees knees because we don't have a great place near our home for the kiddos to ride bikes so we've taken them down to the church parking lot to ride bikes for an hour or so each night.  It's been one of the highlights of their summer so far, which shows how lame our summer has been, haha.

the barbie bike is too small now so she inherited the awesome orange vintage schwinn

you go girl, ride that schwinny goodness for all it's worth

I guess I was inspired by the kids athleticism...or I was too lazy to drive to the gym...but I also got a couple of bike rides in this week...rode long enough and far enough to make not only my legs hurt but also some unspeakable places...
anyway, this is my "i'll cut you" look.  I was mad at the photographer for reasons unknown and this is what he gets in return.  nice.
linking up with Jeannett for Instafriday!

you're dying because of what??

we were driving home after a funeral this weekend,
and apparently Ingrid had drank a LOT of water at the luncheon thingy after the funeral.
she had to PEE SO BAD
she was in the back seat doing a potty dance...
"i'm gonna die, i'm gonna die!"
she kept shouting because she had to pee so bad.
"i'm going to die from PEE-ness!!!"

really? you're going to die from PENIS?
jeremy and I were busting out laughing the whole way home...

i LOVE these cray cray kids!

love fresh raspberries

OK, this belongs on fail blog or lame book or something like that...
it actually came from my very own facebook feed
from my very own ummm... someone related to me...
be sure to read the 1st comment...

who knew loving raspberries could raise up such hellish fury?
this is what i think about sometimes as i pick raspberries...
i feel bad for the guy whose wife calls him a disgusting fat puke
(yes, that was his wife that said that *forehead slap*)

but back to the subject at hand:
raspberries!

aren't they the best??!!
once, when i was about 10, i was walking home from school and i walked past a bush with beautiful red ripe raspberries and somewhere deep in my subconscious "must have raspberry bush when i grow up" became part of my bucket list.
i love picking raspberries off of our bush that started out small and now takes over a 50 square foot area.   Picking raspberries is like a treasure hunt.  A sunny, delicious treasure hunt.  It makes me feel like a kid again :)

i love to put my fresh raspberries on top of a yummy brownie with a scoop of ice cream.
and if that makes me a disgusting fat puke i'm okay with it.
have a beautiful, delicious, non-disgusting day mmmmkay?
