and the last time we did it was ummm, february i think
(let the mom guilt begin...)
so, we broke out our old, mostly goopy polish & went to town.
next time i won't wait so long, considering how happy they were painting their nails
sofia opted for rainbow nails...or "wainbow" nails as she calls it :)
swede wanted red white and blue for the 4th, she painted these all by herself
too bad 99% of the paint will be goners by the time the 4th rolls around
ingrid also painted hers by herself.
she's the "put as many colors on top of one another and see how thick you can make the polish" type of girl.
i tried a colorful, geometric look on mine using tape to make straight lines.
it kinda matches my new blogger banner :)
it's a miracle they turned out as well as they did considering how old and goopy our nail polish is!
I'm linking up with Heather and Heather for ManiMonday!
have a really awesome day, mmkay?
Super cute! I love it. My daughter and I usually try to have a "girl's night" every so often. We watch TV together and paint our nails. So fun. :-)

definitely planning on doing it more often! tons of fun :)
DeleteFun! I've been priming mine to do the same as yours- just one coat per day cuz that's all I've made time for! :)
ReplyDeleteyeah, mine took two days, too :) works out better for peeling the tape off, anyway. plus the fact that there just aren't enough hours in the day!
DeleteSo much fun! I love your nails. My daughter is so independent that she insists on painting her own nails and to be honest I think she does a better job than I do. I love when we have "nail time" together.
ReplyDeleteHow fun, the multi-colored mani turned out so cute! I love your mishmash of tons of different shades! :)
